Head Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist: Serve as a liaison between the celebrant and the team of Eucharistic Ministers. Lead setup before Mass, serve communion during Mass, and confirm clean up of sacred vessels after Mass. sacred vessels after Skills Needed Practicing Catholic who has received the Sacrament of Confirmation and is a parishioner of St. Ignatius. Time Commitment 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours one week a month at assigned Masses. Must arrive ½ hour prior to scheduled Mass time to allow time for set up. We would appreciate all Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist checking in to make sure there are enough Extraordinary Ministers present when you attend Mass and are not scheduled.
