Purpose of this Ministry To help children experience the beauty of Mass. Specifically, by performing the roles of the various ministries, children develop a deeper understanding of Mass and enjoy a monthly Service where they are the main focus. There are many opportunities to serve on the Liturgy with Children (LWC) committee. We need people to help with planning for each LWC Mass. Additional adults are needed to help at practices. They help to direct the children in their various roles and assist with any props or giveaways we may have. We would love to have help with writing the Prayers of the Faithful. Skills Needed There are no specific skills needed. We have a job for every adult and child willing to join us. Time Commitment The time commitment consists of one meeting a month for planning and one practice on the Wednesday before the Saturday evening LWC Mass. Including Mass, a committee member should expect to spend about four hours a month with LWC. There are monthly LWC Masses September through May. Click
